As Founder and CEO, Becki brings her passion for people to life at California People Search. With nearly three decades of perfecting her expertise in pursuing the best client and candidate partnerships, she brings a style of polished panache to the recruiting, staffing, and talent acquisition industry. Becki began her business with a background of education in Human Development and Psychology, and a love for seeing people succeed. This provides her the broad focus to see beyond the surface details and dial-in into a dedicated and specialized recruiting niche. Becki finds the hidden talents of an individual along with discovering the unidentified needs of the client to provide fluidity to building of successful and long-lasting business partnerships.
Puja is not new to California People Search, having worked with the firm a number of years ago, and is now returning to us in her role as Director of Talent Acquisition. Puja brings her passion for client and candidate development, and strengthening existing partnerships for the firm. Puja comes with a BSc in International Hospitality Management from Les Roches, a private hospitality university located in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland. Her most recent experience was with the retained search firm Riviera Partners, which represents the hottest venture capital-backed and emerging growth companies. Puja supported the co-founder and Managing Partner as his Executive Assistant for several years, while also leading Internal Recruiting efforts as the Head of Internal Recruiting. Puja looks forward to helping our clients and candidates find the perfect fit in making that memorable hire!
Nikka is the newest addition to California People Search. A budding recruiter who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and sharing her passion for mental health awareness. Bringing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, in which she graduated Cum Laude. Nikka is always ready to bring her A-game in everything she does. Her experience came from recruiting a solid group of talents who has proven to be an excellent fit for clients in various industries, including the Legal, Legal Technology, Information Technology, and Venture Capital industries. She is thrilled to take her journey to be a great matchmaker for clients and candidates.
Alyssa has spent the first decade of her career in Customer Service and high-level Administration, working with well-respected C-Level executives, Senior Management, Vendors, and Clients in various industries and countries such as the USA and Australia. As much as she learned a lot and loved working with these great individuals, she has fallen in love with recruitment. Having an outgoing spirit and with her background in Business Tourism Management, Alyssa enjoys meeting different people while discussing their career goals and building long-lasting relationships. She is excited to be one with her candidate’s journey in their chosen field as their success is also her achievement.
Joane was in the recruitment industry for more than 2 years before joining California People’s Search. Prior to that, she worked in the customer service industry for more than half a decade supporting various industries, from retail to telecommunications. To Joane, the best thing about recruitment is finding a niche, applying the soft skills that she gained from her previous experiences to network and connect with other people. She likes meeting new people and learning about them, especially what makes them passionate in the career that they have chosen, which allows Joane to soar in the recruitment industry.
Mae Ann Barnido is part of the recruiting team with California People Search. She attended Cavite State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Latin honor, cum laude. Prior to joining California People Search, Mae Ann began her professional career as a recruiter in a High-tech and Manufacturing Staffing firm. She was drawn to recruiting because of her love of helping people and building professional relationships. In her current role, she enjoys nothing more than knowing her candidate’s dream job and skill set. She loves to match it with her client’s preferences like matching a puzzle piece. She also enjoys creating job ads and marketing ads using creative tools! Outside of work, Mae Ann can be found spending time with her family including cats and dogs, watching crime documentaries, or grounding with nature.
